Challenge At Hideaway Farms, The

Located 5 minutes off the highway makes it a great stop if you have the time. Paid $26/18 cart and with 6,828 yds to play with you can have a great afternoon mixing up your shots. Loved the hilly layout with my driver finding the open landing areas if you pick the right tee box. I shot 76/30 putts with my 5 wood getting a real workout on 2nd shots on MANY 400yd+ par 4's. Up and downs from front of the geens saved my butt many times. (Note: Miss Short)One thing lacking is good yardage markers as no sprinkler heads marked only yardage sticks and some are missing. Most par 3's have a marker someplace to pace off yardages. I could see playing here in prime time, play could be very slow if you not playing from the right tee boxes as the back 9 tightens up on the landing areas. Worth the stop, at the right time of the day.

Rated very highly. I have no idea why. Average course. A few goofy holes. Good greens.
